What's the 1st step when I get a new Arpha device?Download "Arpha Plus" App, power on the device, and connect the device and the App.
[Pro-Tip] If your model is not Aku series, DF360, Doorbell Duo, then download "Arpha" App instead.
Why won't the lock connect to my Wi-Fi?Arpha locks only support 2.4GHz Wi-Fi.
[Pro-Tip] If your router is dual-band, temporarily disable 5GHz or create a dedicated 2.4GHz guest network for the lock.
How do I perform a Factory Reset?Long-press the Reset button for 7 seconds. (Depending on the model, you may need an ejection pin.) After the voice prompt, press the “Unlock” button within 4 seconds to confirm.

Note: The location of the reset button may vary by model. Please refer to the user manual for details.
• DF360: The reset button is located at the bottom of the indoor unit.
• Aku series: The reset button is located on the rear of Aku (the outdoor unit).
How do I pair the indoor Doorbell Chime?Hold the volume button on the chime for 5 seconds until it beeps. Immediately press the Doorbell button on the exterior lock 3 times to sync.
How long does Pairing Mode last?It may vary from devices. In general, the "Waiting for network" mode lasts 1-3 minutes. If you don't finish within this time, you must trigger the pairing mode again.
What is the compatible door thickness?Most Arpha locks are designed for standard door thicknesses.
Can the lock be installed on left or right-handed doors?Yes. Arpha locks are universal.
[Pro-Tip] If the bolt moves in the wrong direction after installation, perform a factory reset; the lock will auto-detect the orientation upon the first cycle.
What if my latch is too short for the hole?The latch is adjustable. You can twist the latch body to switch.
Why is the Magnetic Sensor required for Aku Series?The sensor detects if the door is physically closed.
[Pro-Tip] It must be aligned vertically and within 20–40mm of the lock for the auto-lock feature to work.
Do I need to drill new holes when install the Arpha smart lock?For the "Self-Install", usually no.
For some models, you can always use the provided paper template to check if your existing holes align before starting.
