QuestionAnswer & Pro-Tips
The internal knob is hard to turn. This is usually caused by the screws being too tight, or the internal tailpiece being slightly misaligned. Loosen the mounting screws 5% and try again.
The "Tamper Alarm" keeps sounding.Ensure the exterior unit is flush against the door. If there is a gap, the anti-tamper switch is triggered. Tighten the mounting bolts to close the gap.
The screen is black and won't wake up.Check if the battery is seated correctly. If it is, the lock may be in "Privacy Mode" or the battery may have entered deep-discharge protection and needs a long charge.
Voice prompts are too loud/quiet.You can adjust the volume or set the lock to "Mute Mode" through the Settings menu on the lock's keypad or via the App.
